Gratuity is not included in the charter price. Tips are never required but are greatly appreciated when our crew provides an exceptional experience. A gratuity of 15–20% is customary in the charter-fishing industry and is shared between the captain and first mate.

King Salmon were active in 80-120 feet of water with strong morning bite conditions.

Pan-fish remain active but scattered in deep water on White lake. With it getting colder at night expect the fish to start schooling up for the fall bite.

Everything you need to know to prepare for your elite Lake Michigan angling mission with Apex Recon.
What should I bring?
Bring a valid Michigan fishing license, seasonal clothing (layers), sunglasses, and a cooler to transport your catch home.
What is included?
We provide all elite rods, reels, tackle, and safety gear. Professional fish cleaning and bagging are included in every charter.
Weather Policy
Safety is first. If the Captain cancels due to weather, we will prioritize rescheduling or offer a full refund of your deposit.
Arrival & Logistics
Trips depart from Montague mostly but Muskegon marinas at peak fishing times. 8500 Ramp Rd. Montague Mi, 49437.
Booking & Cancellation
Bookings require a $100 deposit. Cancellations made 7 days prior are fully refundable. Late notices forfeit the deposit.
